On the race track, Kawasaki Racing & Swimming With Sharks! Team rider, Shannon Johnson, has one goal...to cross that finish line first. in a decorated career that includes racing on an international level on the world's best circuits, Shannon Johnson has acheived that goal time and time again.

Shannon started his racing career on Motocross tracks at 11 years of age. After winning numerous State and National titles. Shannon headed to the USA to compete in the most competitive Motocross series in the world, naturally Shannon finished on the podium.

With talent scouts back home in Australia standing up and taking notice of the youngster from Victoria, at 18 years of age, Shannon headed home after being lured from the dirt and onto the tar. To honour his road racing skills to the highest level possible, Shannon raced both in Australia and on the international stage, gaining valuable experience and confidence. Shannon's hard work and training paid off in 2002 as he won the Australian Supersport Championship. To prove he is the real deal, Shannon backed up his 2002 Australian title the following year, again finishing on the podium in the Australian Supersport Championship.

Hungry to take his career as far as he can Shannon Johnson stepped up to the Australian Superbike Series in 2004 and immediately stamped his authority on the class finishing his debut year in the series on the podium, taking 2nd place. 2008 markes Shannons 3rd year with KRT & Swimming With Sharks! After joining the Green Team in 2006. Last year, Shannon had an extremely busy work load competing on both the Ninja ZX-10R Superbike and the Ninja ZX-6R Supersport. With the arrival of the all new and improved Ninja ZX-10R this year, Shannon will focus solely on the Superbike series in 2008.
